The California Association of Polygraph Examiners (CAPE) has speakers available to provide expertise to professional groups and organizations on matters related to polygraph. Our speakers are qualified to talk about the capabilities, limitations, and applications of polygraph. CAPE Past President John Tefft presented general instruction about the field of polygraph to two criminal justice classes at Oceanside High School.
CAPE Secretary Thomas Kinney addressed the San Diego Chapter of the Ex-Special Agents of the FBI. After providing a summary of the current state of the polygraph profession, he answered specific questions submitted in advance by the group of FBI professionals.
CAPE Past President Ted Todd represented CAPE at a meeting of the Northern California Forensic Study Group, which was held Solano County Sheriff's Office in Fairfield, CA. Approximately 400 law enforcement professionals attended Ted's presentation, "Polygraph in 2018."
CAPE Past President John Tefft provided training for background investigators during Police Officer Standards and Training (POST) training in San Diego.
CAPE Past President John Tefft provided instruction to the Criminal Justice Club at San Diego State University.
