CAPE 2024 -3 DAY SPRING TRAINING SEMINAR AND BUSINESS MEETING April 18 – 20, 2024

The Spring CAPE Conference will be a full three-day conference held at the Double Tree Hotel by Hilton in San Jose. The Conference dates are April 18^th, 19^th and 20^th from 8 AM  to 5 PM.

THIS WILL BE THE ONLY IN PERSON CONFERENCE FOR 2024

Note: Members must be current with their membership dues to receive the membership discount. There is a $75 late registration fee if you register after April 5th , 2024.

Hotel Accommodations:

The DoubleTree Hotel by Hilton:

CAPE Discounted room rate of $195 USD/night (plus applicable taxes and charges). There are a limited number of rooms available at this rate. Make reservations ASAP. Room reservations must be made no later than March 27th, 2024.

Parking:

 o Self-parking overnight is $10 a day.

 o Day parking is $5.

 If you are flying in for the conference, you will fly to San Jose International Airport. The hotel has a shuttle which will pick you up at the airport and bring you to the hotel. It will also return you to the airport after the conference. See the attached map below to locate the shuttle pick up location. The shuttle runs every 15 minutes. The Conference will be held in the San Martin and San Simeon Rooms.

Conference Presentations:

Our presenter will be Special Agent Chris Campbell of the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigations since 2020, is a Special Agent, Polygraph Examiner and Behavior Threat Assessment Specialist who also has his own business as a Human Resources Consultant will be the presenter for this conference. The three days will be packed with information all polygraph examiners can use while interviewing examinees for Pre-Employment, PSCOT or Criminal Testing. He will present material on generational understanding and interviewing, Micro Expressions/deceptive indicator education, Rapport Building, Leadership and more.  He has presented at conferences such as American Polygraph Association, American Association of Polygraph Examiners and California Association of Hostage Negotiators. Chris Campbell may have a second instructor accompanying him, to team teach with him during these three days of training. You will be receiving twenty-four (24 hours) of Continuous Education Training (CET) to attend all three days of the conference. APA no longer gives Continuous Education Training credit for General Membership Meetings. Our General Membership meeting will occur during a lunch presented by CAPE on Friday.
